Welcome to MacGregor Alternative Learning Center.  We are several Learning Communities of dedicated staff and students who are committed to academic success.  

Bridgepoint High School is designed for one purpose only, credit recovery.  For students with the desire to graduate, but lack the appropriate credits to do so, Bridgepoint provides a safe and nurturing environment where students can accelerate the completion of needed credits. 

Crossroads Independent Study provides a unique setting for students who are independent learners and succeed outside the traditional school environment.  One on one appointments with skilled educators provide the opportunity for students to learn in the most intimate of settings. 

The Transition Adult Lifestyle Learning (TALL) program consists of students who need support to grow in lifestyle activities.  A master teacher and instructional aides work with young adults in the private sector and in the classroom until the age of 22. 

Lastly, Newark Adult School provides a wide variety of programs which includes High School Diploma, English as a Second Language, CAHSEE preparation, and several artistic based enrichment courses. 

As principal, I am proud to work with such a diverse group of dedicated and talented educational professionals to serve our students.  With intervention at the heart of our work and individual learning plans in place for each learner, we provide a rigorous and positive environment so that all students can achieve success.
